Numerous scientific studies have shown that a regular yoga practice can lead to improved flexibility, balance, strength and muscular endurance. Studies have also shown that yoga is effective in terms of reducing stress, improving mood and decreaseing risk factors for chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus.
