I am looking to get certified to teach bootcamp fitness classes, is the ACE group exercise certification the way to go? Do I need any further certification other than group fitness or is that a good base to start with?

Answers

Yes, the ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification offers an excellent foundation for teaching a variety of classes, including boot camp.

This NCCA-accredited program will teach you how to design and lead safe and effective classes for people of all fitness levels. You’ll learn the basics of exercise science, injury prevention, how to cultivate a positive exercise environment, motivation and cueing, legal considerations, and more. You’ll also learn how to create choreography to foster the fun, high-energy experience your participants desire while driving the fitness results they’re looking for. Best of all, when you purchase ACE study materials, you can access the ACE Resource Center and discuss your questions with an ACE Expert.

Once you’re certified, you may want additional training specific to the boot camp format. Search ACE Continuing Education for in-person workshops, online training, and more.

Best wishes as you take the next step towards your goal!
